Prerequisites: Dogs must be competing in Excellent A Standard AKC (must have their OA) or have at least two Advanced standard legs; (Dates required) or permission of the registrar, Claudia Bates.

Novice Seminar
While the emphasis of the seminar will still be primarily handling, some time may be spent on individual obstacle skill building as well.
Prerequisites: Dogs must have 1 leg in Novice (USDAA, NADAC, or AKC) Standard (Dates required) or permission of the registrar, Claudia Bates.

About Jen Pinder
Jen is a full-time dog agility trainer who teaches lessons locally in Lapeer MI, just outside of Detroit. She also travels around the country giving agility seminars and workshops. Jen has been an instructor at Susan Garrett's Say Yes dog agility camps in the past as well as Clean Run Camp, Awesome Paws, Power Paws, Bark Camp, Florida camps, and many more.Jen has been involved in agility since 1992. She was a member of the 2002, 2003 and 2004 AKC USA World Agility Teams. She has the distinct honor of being the first person from the US Agility Team sent to Crufts in Great Britain in 2004. Jen has been a finalist in the USDAA Grand Prix almost every year she has participated with her Border Collies and her Jack Russell Terrier, Divot. Jen has participated and placed high in the rankings of the Great Outdoor Games and is a crowd favorite at every large event.
Jen's methods help to teach her students to build a strong relationship with the dog and then to work on agility handling. Her emphasis on building a solid foundation in jumping, contacts, handling, and attention contributes to her success and the success of her students in agility today.
Seminar Details
All seminars and workshop will be held in our 100' x 125' climate controlled building. There will be a one hour lunch break each day. Lunch will not be provided, but there are many fast food restaurants and delis in the area within close driving distance. Maps of Leesburg restaurants will be provided. We will have coffee, tea, water, and light snacks.Registration Information
Each seminar will be limited to 12 working teams.The cost for a working spot in each handling seminar is $160 for current ACA students and $175 for general public, for one day. Auditing spots are available at $45/day or $25 if handler has a working spot on another day. A discount of $10 will be given for second and third days if working multiple days.
Registration opens April 29 at 7pm for currently enrolled ACA students and May 7 at 7pm for the general public. All registrations will be done online. No mailed entires.
Once registered, you will receive a preliminary confirmation via email within 5 days. You must submit payment and a copy of the dog's rabies certificate, and a signed release form (a new copy is required from everyone) within 5 days for this to be considered a valid registration.
