At the Hyattsville Dog Training Club’s AKC Obedience trial, held in Beltsville, Maryland on September 23rd, Shetland Sheepdog Eli (Cataway Abal Inspiration CDX, RN, AXP, MJP) completed his CDX title.
From Sandy Martin:
On September 15 & 16, at the Warrenton KC and PVBSC AKC agility trials in Rectortown, VA, Bedlington Terrier Emmy (CH Jewelbox Emerald RN, NA, NAJ, NAP, NJP) completed her Novice Preferred Standard and Novice Preferred Jumpers titles. At the same trial, Bedlington Terrier Rudy (CH Chelsea's Rootbeer Float RN, OA, OAJ, ME) qualified in Open Standard to complete his OA title.
On September 28th, at the Warrenton KC AKC Rally Obedience trial in Millwood, VA, Rudy earned his first Rally Advanced leg with a score of 90. He then switched to the conformation ring where he won Best of Breed and went Group Three with a Junior Handler.
On September 30th, at the Old Dominion KC AKC Rally Obedience trial in Millwood, VA, Rudy earned his second Rally Advanced leg.

On September 15 & 16, at the Potomac Valley Belgian Sheepdog Club's AKC agility trial, held in Rectortown VA, Portuguese Water Dog Jazz (Amigo's Mars AX, AXJ, NF, CGC) earned his first Open FAST leg and his fourth MXJ leg.
On September 29 & 30, at the Greater Fredericksburg KC AKC agility trial, held in Fredericksburg, VA, Jazz took second place in Excellent B JWW, earning his fifth MXJ leg.

On September 1st, at the ITZ NADAC trial in Millersville, MD, Miniature Pinscher Timmy (Sir Timothy Crimson Tide MXJ, RA, AJ, SS, SG, SR, PD1, PJ2, PK2, PG1, EAC, S-EJC, OCC, TN-E, WV-O, TG-N, N-Versatility, FMX, CGC) qualified in Elite Standard with a first place.
At the Y Agility USDAA trial in East Durham, NY, held on September 7-9, Border Collie Zippity (Eiz Zippity Do Da VCD2, RE, MX, MXJ, MAD, SAM, GM, RM, JM, TM, NCC, FDCH-S, CGC) qualified in 7 of 11 runs, placing second in Master Jumpers on Sunday and earning her Jumper Master title. Zippity also completed her Relay Master title at this event. Timmy competed on Sunday only and qualified in P3 Jumpers with a first place.
On September 15 & 16, at the PVBSC / WKC AKC agility trials in Rectortown , VA, Zippity qualified both days in Open FAST, and Excellent B Standard on Sunday, placing first in each event. Competing only Sunday, Rat Terrier Spring (U-CH Smartypants Spring Loaded RN, CGC) qualified in Novice FAST with a fourth place and Novice JWW with a first place.
On September 22nd, at the HDTC AKC Rally Obedience trial in Beltsville, MD, Spring qualified in Rally Advanced A. Zippity earned her first Double Q for the RAE title, with a perfect score and a third place in Advanced B, and a 97 in Excellent B.
On September 23rd, at the Periland NADAC trial in Knoxville, MD, Timmy qualified in Elite Standard with a first place and Elite Tunnelers with a fourth place.

On September 29th, at the Greater Fredericksburg Kennel Club’s AKC agility trial in Fredericksburg, VA, Cardigan Corgi Wilson (Caduceus Castaway Wilson AJP, OAP, FFX-AG, CGC) earned his second Excellent Jumpers Preferred leg, placing first. On September 30th, at the same trial, Wilson earned his second Excellent Standard Preferred, placing first. Wrapping up a very successful weekend, he also earned his third Excellent Jumpers Preferred leg, placing first, and giving him his AJP title. These were challenging courses and I am very proud of Wilson!

On September 7-9, at Y-Agility USDAA trial, held at the Blackthorne Resort in NY, GSP Bruni (Legacy's Southern Silhouette JH, RN, CDX, MX, MXJ, APD, AKD-Bronze, AJD-Bronze, AGD, ATD) completed her Accomplished Gamblers Dog title, going two for two in P3 Gamblers.
At the same trial, GSP Siegfried (Summertime's Makin' Waves JH, NA, NAJ, AD, AS) completed his Advanced Snooker title.
At the Mid-Atlantic MADness USDAA trial, Bruni earned her fifteenth P3 Jumpers leg, completing the AJD-Bronze title. At the CVAC USDAA trial, she completed her Accomplished Tournament Dog title, with her tenth Performance Grand Prix leg and a first place!

At the PVBSC’s AKC agility trial, held on September 15 &16 in Rectortown, VA, Border Collie Josie (Mystic Hills Lass MX, MXJ, OF, AD) qualified twice in Open FAST to complete her OF title with a second place on Saturday, and 78 points and another leg on Sunday. In addition, she qualified in Excellent B JWW on Sunday.
At the same trial, Border Collie Rusty (Winterwood Fine Gold AX, AXJ, NF, AD) placed third place in Open FAST on Saturday with 79 points. On Sunday, he placed third in Excellent B Standard and first in Open FAST with 76 points.
At the CVAC USDAA trial, held on September 29 & 30, Josie qualified both days in Advanced Jumpers, placing first and second, and qualified and placed second in the Grand Prix. In addition, she qualified and placed second in Advanced Snooker. At the same trial, Rusty qualified and placed first in Starter Gamblers, to complete his SG title. He also qualified in the Grand Prix at 26”, placing second. In the fun Tunnelers run on Sunday, he had the fastest time of all dogs on the course and won a free run at an upcoming trial.

At the PVBSC ‘s AKC agility trial, held on September 15 & 16 in Rectortown, VA, Border Terrier Wimsey (Bandersnatch Lord Peter MX, MXJ, CDX, SE, AD, EAC, EJC, NGC, TN-O, TG-O, WV-N, NADAC Novice Versatility, CGC, TDI) was blown off course on Saturday, literally. He was one of at least six Excellent dogs blown off the dogwalk by strong winds, costing him a Double Q since he had qualified in Excellent B JWW. On Sunday, Wimsey qualified again in Excellent B JWW and earned numerous MACH points over the weekend. Wimsey was handled by ACA instructor Nancy Walkins.

At the Periland Agility Club’s NADAC trial, held on September 22 & 23 in Knoxville, MD, All-American Milo (Milo S-NAC, S-NCC, S-TG-N, S-TN-N, O-NJC, PD1, PK1, PG1, PJ1, CSL1-H, CSL1-S, CSL1-F) qualified and placed second in Novice Skilled Jumpers. She also qualified in Open Skilled Tunnelers.
At the same trial, All American Bobby (Bobby S-NAC, S-NJC, O-NCC, O-TG-N, O-TN-N, PJ1, PK1, PG1, CSL1-R, CSL1-H, CSL1-S) earned a 5-point qualifier and placed second in Open Skilled Regular. He also qualified and placed third in Novice Skilled Touch N Go.
At the Periland Agility Club’s CPE trial, held on September 29 & 30 in Knoxville, MD, Milo qualified in Specialist Level 1 Jackpot, Wildcard, Full House, Colors, Standard, Snookers, and Jumpers. She earned her CSL1-H, CSL1-S, and CSL1-F titles. At the same trial, Bobby qualified twice in Specialist Level 1 Standard, to earn his CSL1-R title. He also qualified in Specialist Level 1 Jackpot, Wildcard, Colors, Snookers, and Jumpers, to earn his CSL1-H, and CSL1-S titles.

On August 19th, at the Touch & Go Agility Club's USDAA trial in Sterling, VA, Beagle Shelley (UAGI Shelley Ann Buford NA, NAJ, CGC)
earned a leg in Starters Jumpers (sixth place).
On September 8th, at the Teamworks Dog Training Club’s USDAA agility trial in
Youngesville, NC, Shelley earned her second leg in Starters Jumpers (first place).
On October 6 & 7 at the Tailwaggers Agility Club's NADAC trial, held in
Westminster, MD, Shelley earned two Novice Standard Proficient legs (two first places), one Novice Jumpers Proficient leg (second place), one Novice Weavers Proficient leg (second place), one Novice Tunnelers Proficient leg (first place), and one Novice Touch N Go Proficient leg (first place).

On September 23rd, at the Mid Atlantic MADness USDAA agility trial, held in Gamber, MD, Pomeranian Mocha (Mocha OAJ, PJ2, PK2, SR) completed his Performance 2 Snooker title by qualifying and placing first.

From Nancy Walkins:
On September 15 & 16, at the Belgian Sheepdog Club’s AKC agility trial, held in Rectortown, VA, Border Collie Yaz (U-CD Silveridge Yaz CDX, RE, AD, SSA, SG, SR, OA, OAJ, NF, NCC, TG-N, TN-N, CGC, TDI) completed his OA title, by qualifying and placing first in Open Standard on Saturday. In addition, Yaz completed his Novice FAST title by qualifying each day, and placing first and third, with scores of 78/80 and 72/80.
On Saturday, September 22nd, at the Mid-Atlantic MADness USDAA trial in Gamber, MD, Yaz completed his Starter Standard title, placing first, and Starter Relay title, placing first with Border Collie partner “Teza Markley”. On Sunday, September 23, Yaz completed his Agility Dog title by qualifying and placing first in Starters Jumpers with the only course time under 20 seconds on the 32 second course.
At the same trial, and competing in only one Games class each day, Border Collie Lucy (Loudoun’s Lofty Lucy RN, CGC) qualified and placed second in Performance I Jumpers, less than a second off the first place time and only 4 seconds slower than Yaz’s time. In addition, Lucy placed third in Performance I Gamblers.
At the Clean Break Flyball tournament, held on September 29 & 30 in York, PA, Border Collie Brie (Brie AAD, OA, OAJ, EGC, OAC, OJC, ONYX, STDs, CGC) and her Beltway Bandits team “Speeders” placed second in Regular Division 4. At the same tournament, Border Collie Cash (Sagehill Time is Money RA, FDCh-S, HTD1-s, HRD1-s, HTAD1-s, CGC, TDI) and his Beltway Bandits team “Greenway” placed third in Multi-Breed Division 2, with three of four very “green” dogs. Cash ran as start dog for the first time in a tournament, and was consistently in the 4.2-4.3 second range, posting his best time of 4.200 seconds.

At the AHBA herding trial, held at Keepstone Farm in Berryville, VA, on September 1 & 2, Border Collie Gotta had an outstanding herding weekend. She finished her HTD II, HRD I and II, and HTAD II titles. She won four classes, was second three times, and also earned a third place and a sixth (she had a very difficult sheep that fought us both the entire way around the course, but she kept her cool). She ended up Reserve Champion for the weekend (cumulative points) out of all levels of dogs.
