From Sandy Martin:
On May 19th, at the Mattaponi Kennel Club’s AKC Obedience trial, held in Manassas, VA, Bedlington Terrier Emmy (CH Jewelbox Emerald NA, NAJ, RN) earned her third and final leg in Rally Novice, to complete her RN title.

On May 20th, at the WCWDCA’s AKC agility trial in Westminster, MD, German Pinscher Santana (CH Mir Image Lil Santana RN, OA, OAJ, CGC) completed his OAJ title. Santana earned his OA and RN titles in July 2006, and in August 2006, he earned his first Excellent A Standard leg.

On May 12 & 13, at the Touch & Go USDAA trial, held in Sterling, VA, Border Collie Josie (Mystic Hills Lass) qualified in Starters Gamblers, completing her SG title, Starters Pairs (first place), the Grand Prix, Starters Standard (on Sunday), Starters Snookers (first place), and Starters Jumpers.
At the same trial, Border Collie Rusty (Winterwood Fine Gold) qualified in Starters Standard both days (first place each time), Starters Pairs (second place to Josie), and Starters Jumpers.
At the National Bearded Collie Club’s AKC agility trial, held on May 26 & 27 in Woodbridge, VA, Josie qualified in three out of four runs over the weekend, with a Double Q on Saturday. Rusty qualified on Sunday in Excellent B Standard with a third place, and in Excellent A JWW with a first place.

On May 28th, at the Merrimac DTC’s Rally trial in Hampton, VA, Labrador Retriever Gracie (UAGII Dovehill Driving Miss Gracie RE, MX, AXJ, CGC, TDI, OAC, O-WV-N, TN-E, TG-E) earned her third RAE leg, taking second place in the Advanced B class.
On May 27th, at the same trial, Labrador Retriever Sophie (Canvasback LTD Ed Prm Meridian RN) completed her Rally Novice B title. On May 28th, Sophie moved up to the Advanced A and took first place.

At the WCWDA’s AKC agility trial, held in Westminster, MD, on May 19 & 20, Border Terrier Wimsey (Bandersnatch Lord Peter MX, MXJ, CDX, SE, AD, EAC, EJC, NGC, TN-O, TG-O, WV-N, NADAC Novice Versatility, CGC, TDI) qualified in Excellent B Standard on Saturday, earning his 9th MX leg, Novice B FAST, placing first, and Excellent B JWW on Sunday.
At the NCBCC’s AKC agility trial, held in Woodbridge, VA on May 26 &27, Wimsey qualified in Excellent B Standard on Saturday, to complete his MX title. On Sunday, he earned his sixth Double Q, and placed fourth in Excellent B Standard. Wimsey was handled by ACA instructor Nancy Walkins.

Running on Saturday only, at the NCBCC’s AKC agility trial in Woodbridge, VA, Border Collie Echo (Can You Hear Me Now NA, OAJ, CGC, HCT-s) placed first in Open JWW with a score of 100, to complete her OAJ title, and first in Open Standard with a 95.

At the Artful Dodgers USDAA Trial, held May 19 &20 in Millersville, MD, Australian Shepherd Presto completed the requirements for his AAD title, thanks to Janine Hair who handled him due to my back injury.
From Alyssia Greiner:
On May 12th, at the Touch & Go USDAA trial in Sterling, VA, Miniature Pinscher Timmy (Sir Timothy Crimson Tide MXJ, RA, AJ, SS, SG, SR, PD1, PJ2, PK2, PG1, EAC, O-EJC, OCC, TN-E, WV-O, TG-N, N-Versatility, FMX, CGC) won the 8” class of the Performance National Championships, earning a Regional finals “bye”.
On May 19th, at the Periland NADAC trial, held in Knoxville, MD, Timmy qualified in Elite Standard and Elite Jumpers, placing third both times.
On May 26th, at the NCBBC AKC agility trial, held in Woodbridge, VA, Border Collie Zippity (Eiz Zippity Do Da VCD2, RE, MX, MXJ, MAD, SAM, GM, TM, NCC, FDCH-S, CGC) qualified in Excellent B Standard with a first place on Saturday.
On Sunday, I handled Australian Shepherd Cowboy, owned by Kim Weiland, in Excellent A Standard. He was the only 20” dog to qualify and placed first.

From Nancy Walkins:
At the Touch & Go USDAA trial, held in Sterling, VA on May 12 & 13, Border Collie Yaz (U-CD Silveridge Yaz CDX, RE, SG, NA, NAJ, NCC, TG-N, TN-N, CGC, TDI) qualified in Starters Gamblers, placing second (one point out of first place), to complete his Starters Gamblers title in three attempts. Yaz also qualified in Starters Standard on Saturday, placing first, and Starters Snooker, placing second (with 48 points and less than one second off first place with the same score). In addition, Yaz ran in Performance I Pairs at 22” with his Border Collie buddy “Torque Smart”, qualifying and placing first.
At the same trial, running in only two classes, Border Collie Cash (Sagehill Time is Money RA, FDCh-S, HTD1-s, HRD1-s, HTAD1-s, CGC, TDI) earned his first leg in USDAA by qualifying and placing fourth in Starters Gamblers.
On May 20th, at the WCWDCA’s AKC agility trial, held in Westminster, MD Yaz qualified and placed first in Novice JWW to complete his NAJ title. In addition, Yaz qualified and placed first in Open Standard, with one of only four clean runs on the course. His 36 second time was 20 seconds faster than the second place dog and 32 seconds under SCT. Yaz also competed for the first time in the Novice B FAST class and earned a qualifying score.
At the same trial, competing only in Novice Standard, Cash qualified and placed second to earn his second NA leg.

At the Touch & Go USDAA trial, held May 12 & 13 in Sterling, VA, Border Collie Giddy Up! (ADCh Timeless Giddy Up Girl!, SM, SAM, GM, RM, TM-bronze, JM, MX, MXJ, JHD) earned qualifying scores in Steeplechase (placing third in the first round), Grand Prix (placing first and winning a "bye" into a USDAA Regional Grand Prix final), Masters Snooker, Masters Standard (placing fourth both days), Masters Gamblers (placing third), and Masters Jumpers (placing first).
On May 19th, at the Artful Dodger's USDAA trial in Millersville, MD, Giddy
Up! earned qualifying scores in the Grand Prix, Masters Gamblers (placing
first), and Masters Pairs. At the same trial, Border Collie Kestrel (Timeless Time
to Soar AAD, AX, OAJ, JHD) earned a qualifying score in the Grand Prix.
At the National Capital Bearded Collie Club’s AKC agility trial, held in Woodbridge, VA, on May 26 & 27, Giddy Up! earned qualifying scores in Excellent Standard on Saturday (placing second), and Excellent JWW on both Saturday and Sunday (placing first both days). At the same trial, Kestrel earned qualifying scores in Excellent Standard on both days, placing third each time.

At the AKC World Team Tryouts held in Minnesota, Border Collie Jive (MACH ADCH Sagehill’s Time Steppin’ Jive, LAA-Bronze, TM-Platinum, HCT, TDI, CGC) was the Rounds 1 – 3 Cumulative Winner and won a spot onto the 2007 AKC/USA World Team that will compete in Hamar, Norway at the end of September. Jive won Round 1 at Tryouts and also placed 3rd overall in placement points.
At Touch & Go’s USDAA trial, Jive qualified and placed first in Masters Standard, Snooker and Gamblers, as well as the 26” Grand Prix and the first round of the 26” Steeplechase. Jive earned his Tournament Master Platinum title at this trial.
At Artful Dodger’s USDAA trial, Jive competed on Saturday and qualified in Masters Standard (2nd place) and Master Gamblers (3rd place).
At Nat’l Capital Beardie’s AKC trial, Jive earned a double Q on Saturday in Excellent B and qualified in Exc B JWW on Sunday (three 1st places).
