On June 2nd, Beagle Shelley (Shelley Ann Buford NA, NAJ, CGC) passed the Delta Society Pet Partners Evaluation and is now registered as a therapy dog with the Delta Society. I am very proud of her.
From Carol Klingler:
At the Artful Dodgers NADAC trial, held on June 9 & 10 in Westminster, MD, All-American Milo (Milo S-NAC, S-NCC, S-TG-N, S-TN-N, O-NJC, PD1, PK1, PG1, PJ1) qualified twice in Novice Skilled Regular to complete her S-NAC title. She also qualified twice in Novice Skilled Chances, earning her S-NCC title, and qualified in Touch N Go (first place), earning her S-TG-N title. Milo also qualified and placed first in Novice Skilled Jumpers and earned a 5-point qualifier in Open Skilled Regular.
At the same trial, All American Bobby (Bobby S-NAC, S-NJC, O-NCC, O-TG-N, O-TN-N, PJ1, PK1, PG1) qualified and placed second in Novice Skilled Jumpers to complete his S-NJC title. He also qualified and placed second in Novice Skilled Touch N Go, earning his O-TG-N title. Bobby earned two 5-point qualifiers in Open Skilled Regular and qualified twice in Novice Skilled Chances. Bobby also qualified and placed first both in Novice Skilled Tunnelers and Open Skilled Jumpers.

Competing only June 10th at the Artful Dodgers NADAC trial in Westminster, MD, Miniature Pinscher Timmy (Sir Timothy Crimson Tide MXJ, RA, AJ, SS, SG, SR, PD1, PJ2, PK2, PG1, EAC, S-EJC, OCC, TN-E, WV-O, TG-N, N-Versatility, FMX, CGC) qualified in Elite Standard and Elite Jumpers, placing second in both.
On June 23, at the PVGRC AKC agility trial in Westminster, MD, Border Collie Zippity (Eiz Zippity Do Da VCD2, RE, MX, MXJ, MAD, SAM, GM, TM, NCC, FDCH-S, CGC) qualified in Excellent B JWW with a first place.
On June 24th, at the BAD NADAC trial in Frederick, MD, Timmy qualified in Elite Jumpers with a first place to complete his Superior Elite Jumpers title.
On June 30th, at the Blue Crab AKC Obedience Cluster held in Bel Alton, MD, Rat Terrier Spring (U-CH Smartypants Spring Loaded CGC) competed in Rally Novice B for the first time and earned a qualifying leg.

At the World Canine Freestyle Organization “Star Spangled Swing” competition, held June 30 - July 1 and hosted by the Chesapeake Rock ‘n Rovers in Beltsville, MD, Silky Terrier Joey (Joey, OA, OAJ, AJ, SS, SG, NAC, EJC, NGC, TN-O, TG-O) earned his W-FDX/MF, (Freestyle Dog Excellent) title. His little brother, Silky Terrier Jack (Jack, OA, AXJ, PJ1, NAC, NJC, TN-N, TG-N), earned his W-FD/MF (Freestyle Dog) title.

On June 9 & 10, at the Salisbury Kennel Club’s agility trial, Australian Shepherd Nick completed his AXJ title, Australian Shepherd Sage completed her NA title, and Chinese Crested Fling completed her OAJ title.

At the Clarion Canine Obedience Club's agility trials, held in Cheswick, PA on June 1-3, Doberman Dicey (Smack-Dab's Daring Dicey MX, MXJ, OF, CGC) qualified in Excellent B Standard on Friday with a fourth place. On Sunday, she Double Q’d with a fourth place in Standard.
At the PVGRC AKC agility trials, held in Westminster, MD on June 23 & 24, Dicey qualified Saturday in Excellent B Standard with a second place and in Excellent B JWW on Sunday.

On Friday, July 6th, at the BRDTC’s AKC agility trial held in Winchester, VA, GSD Olive (There’s an Olive in the Mix) placed first with a score of 100 in Open JWW Preferred to complete her OJP title. On July 7th, at the same trial, Border Collie Echo (Can You Hear Me Now) placed second with a 90 in Open Standard.

At USDAA’s Southeast Regional, Border Collie, (MACH ADCH Sagehill’s Time Steppin’ Jive, LAA-Bronze, TM-Platinum, HCT, TDI, CGC) Jive’s team (Chai’s all Giddy for Jive) won the team tournament out of 80 teams. Jive placed first in Team Snooker and Team Jumpers, third in Team Standard, and 7th in Team Gamblers. Jive also won the first round of the 26” Grand Prix qualifier. Jive earned byes into the semi-finals in Grand Prix and Steeplechase at the USDAA Nationals to be held in November in Arizona.
At PVGRC’s AKC trial, Jive earned a double Q on Saturday in Excellent B and qualified in Excellent B JWW on Sunday (three 1st places).
At USDAA’s Northeast Regional, Jive placed first overall in the Steeplechase Regional Qualifier. He also placed first in the first round of the Grand Prix, as well as won the Grand Prix Regional Finals. Jive has now earned a bye into the finals of the Grand Prix at Nationals in Scottsdale, AZ in November.

At the Mt. Nittany Dog Training Club’s AKC Obedience & Rally Trials, held on June 16 & 17 in Reedsville, PA, Border Collie Yaz Border Collie Yaz (U-CD Silveridge Yaz CDX, RE, SG, NA, NAJ, NCC, TG-N, TN-N, CGC, TDI) qualified on Saturday in Rally Excellent B (97, third place) and Rally Advanced B (100, first place) to earn his third RAE leg. On Sunday, Yaz qualified and placed first with a score of 100 in Rally Advanced B.

At the Blue Crab AKC Obedience Cluster, held in Bel Alton, MD on June 30 & July 1, GSP Greer (Sunreach Double Time, UD, RE, OA, OAJ, ASCA CD) completed her Utility title on Saturday and earned a fourth “bumper” leg on Sunday with her best job ever.
At the same trial, GSP Flynn was shown again in Novice for the 7th time and qualified both days with a second and a third. His second place was a score of 197.

On June 28th, at the Italian Greyhound Club of America Regional Specialty in Bel Alton, MD, IG Brez (Spritely Brezza d’Estate RA) qualified and was High in Trial with a score of 170 for her first Novice Obedience leg. She also qualified and earned her second Rally Excellent leg. Also on Thursday, IG Kyss (Suez Spritely Eco del Cuore) qualified and earned her first Rally B Novice leg.
On June 29th, at the Mid-Atlantic Italian Greyhound Club of Central Maryland’s Independent Specialty, Brez qualified and was High in Trial with a score of 183 for her second Novice Obedience leg. She again qualified in Rally Excellent to complete her RE title. Kyss qualified again in Rally Novice for her second leg.
On July 2nd, IG Aura (PHF OneWinkAtATime At Spritely) went Winners Bitch for her first major at the Rock Creek Kennel Club show under Judge Jon Cole. Aura now has 8 points and one major towards her championship.

At the USDAA Southeast Regional Competition in Perry, GA on June 8 & 9, Border Collie Giddy Up! (ADCh Timeless Giddy Up Girl! SM, SAM, GM, RM, TM, JM, MX, MXJ, JHD) earned a fourth place in Team Standard (out of over 100 dogs) as well as a semi-final Grand Prix bye for the USDAA Cynosport World Games that will be held in Scottsdale Arizona in November of 2007. Giddy also earned a qualifying score in Round 1 of Steeplechase. Giddy's DAM team, “Chai's Just Giddy for Jive” with friend Michelle Beardsley and Aussie Chai and friend/ACA instructor Carrie Jones and BC Jive, took first place out of 80 teams competing in the Dog Agility Masters tournament.
At the same event, Border Collie Kestrel (Timeless Time to Soar AAD, AX, OAJ, JHD) also competed in the DAM tournament with her team “Kestrel's 4 Ever Streaking with Silver” with friend Chris Halling and BC Ever and friend/ACA student Tracy Hirsch and BC Silver. Kestrel's "baby dog team" finished an impressive 11th place out of the 80 teams.
At the USDAA Northeast Regional competition in Port Byron, NY on June 30-July 2, Giddy Up! earned another Grand Prix semi-final bye, a qualifying score in Round 1 of Steeplechase, and another qualifying score in the DAM tournament, placing 7th out of 72 teams with her team “Keegan's Southern Belles” with friends Michelle and Chai and Donna and Keegan). At the same trial, Kestrel earned her first Masters Standard leg, an impressive 8th placement in Team Standard, a qualifying score in Round 1 of Steeplechase, and a qualifying score in the DAM tournament with her team “Charlie's Angels” with friend/ACA student Janeen Hair and BC Dazzle and friend Al with Charlie.
