From Mary Webb:

New AKC OTCH Title!

On January 22, at the Greater Baltimore Shetland Sheepdog Club’s AKC Obedience Trial, Sheltie Drew (OTCH, MACH, U-CD Trinity Drew A Winner HT, NF, Can CD, MAD, TM, RM, SAM) earned the finals points needed for his AKC Obedience Trial Champion title.

From Nancy Kurkjian:

On January 21 & 22, at the Annapolis / Carroll KC’s AKC Conformation show in East Friendship, MD, PWD Jeter (UKC CH Hunter's Mr. November NAP, NJP, NFP, RA, AWD CGC) took back-to-back three point majors.

On January 28 & 29, at the Oriole DTC AKC agility trial in Timonium MD, Jeter earned his NAP, NJP and NFP titles and his first OAP leg, going six for six with one first place and five second places. At the same trial, PWD Roxie (Amigo's Brown Velvet CD, RAE, AX, MXJ, AXP, AJP, NF, NFP, JWD, TD,I CGC) earned her NFP title and her fourth MJP leg with a fourth place.

From Barbara Yoder:

On December 9 -11, at the Oriole Dog Training Club’s AKC agility trial in Westminster, MD, BMD Lara qualified on Friday in both Open Standard and Open JWW. On Sunday, BMD Freya completed her NAJ title by qualifying in Novice JWW.

On January 1, 2012 at Keepstone Farm’s AHBA herding trial in Berryville, VA,  Cindy (CH Brenna's Cindy von Lindenhof CD, E, NA, NAJ, OAP, OJP, DD, HCT-s, JHD-s, HTAD-I-s, VD, WD, CGC), completed the requirements for her BMDCA Working Dog Excellent award by earning the HTAD-I on sheep. Cindy turned 12 years old on December 12, 2011. At the same trial, Cindy’s daughter Ingrid (Ingrid Ida v. Lindenhof CD, RE, NAP, NJP, HCT-S, JHD-S, HTAD-I-s, NDD, WD, CGC), who became a senior dog on January 13th at age seven, also completed her HTAD-I on sheep. 

From Melissa Muniz:

On December 31, 2011 and January 1, 2012, at the Mid-Atlantic MADness USDAA Tournament  Event Trial in Jessup, MD, All American Star (Caroline’s Shining Star APD, APS, APJ, APK, APG, APR, TN-O, WV-O, TG-N, OA, NAJ, NF), qualified and placed fifth in the Performance Versatility Pairs Tournament with partner, Kip Fellers. This was both dogs’ debut in Team competition.  Star placed first in Gamblers, second in Snooker, and third in Standard. 

On January 8, at the Breakaway Action Dogs’ NADAC agility trial in Frederick, MD, All American Liberty (U-AGI Liberty Leaps and Bounds APS, APD, APJ, APK, APG, TNS-E, WV-O, TGS-O, OAP, OJP, NFP) competed at the Skilled level and qualified, placing second, in Elite Tunnelers. At the same trial, All American Star qualified and placed first in Open Touch N Go, qualified and placed second in Elite Tunnelers, and qualified and placed second in Open Weavers, earning her Open Weavers title.

On February 18 & 19, at the Blue Ridge Australian Shepherd Club’s ASCA agility trial in Leesburg, VA, Liberty, competing as a veteran, qualified and placed first in two runs of Elite Regular, and qualified, placing first and third, in two runs of Elite Jumpers. At the same trial, All American Star qualified and placed third and fourth in Elite Jumpers, and qualified twice, and placed fourth once, in Elite Regular.

INSTRUCTOR BRAGS

From Nancy Walkins:

On December 3 & 4, at the Jet Set Flyball tournament in York, PA,  Border Collie Cash (Sagehill Time is Money ONYX, SG, RE, HTD1-s, HRD1-s, HTAD1-s, CGC, TDI) and his Beltway Bandits team “Rush Hour” won almost every one of their races and placed first in the Multi-Breed division. Cash earned 730 points toward is next NAFA title.
