From Michelle Gooden:
On September 10 &11, at his first outdoor trial, the NCBCC’s AKC agility trial in Leesburg, VA, Swedish Vallhund Tiwaz (Fantasi Starlight Tiwaz OAP, OJP, GS-N, JS-N, CGC, TDI) qualified in both Open Preferred JWW runs, placing first and second, to complete his Open Preferred JWW title. He also qualified in his first Excellent Standard Preferred run on Saturday, with a first place.

On September 24th, Bernese Mountain Dog Ingrid passed her Novice Draft Dog test in Crozet, VA. With her agility titles and CD, she is now eligible for the Working Dog award from the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of America. This was a big accomplishment for us. We have been working this off and on for the past six years and Ingrid has finally developed the confidence and skills needed to pass one of these tests.

New MACH & ADCH titles!
On October 1st, at the All Dogs Agility USDAA trial in Manchester, NH, Bearded Collie Mika (MACH4, ADCH Foxlane's Mika at Tweeddale MXF, TQX, SACH- Bronze, TM, SAM, JCH, RCH, NAC, AKC Agility Invitational Invite 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011) earned her ADCH title.
On October 3rd, at the Bearded Collie National Specialty, Mika earned her MACH4, placing first in both Excellent B Standard and Excellent B JWW. Mika is the first Beardie to earn a MACH at a Bearded Collie National Specialty Agility Trial. In addition, she was High in Trial for both Standard and JWW, and placed first in the T2B class.
Mika is currently the #2 Bearded Collie for the 2011 AKC Agility Invitational.
Over the past few months, Bearded Collie Tori (Tweeddale's Black Magic Women NA, NAJ, NF, CGC) has earned all three AKC Novice Agility titles; the NA, NAJ, and NF.

On September 3rd, at the K9 Connection UKC Breed Show in Beltsville, MD, PWD Jeter (Hunter's Mr. November RA, JWD, CGC) took a Group 2, and earned 50 points and one Competitive Win towards his UKC Breed Championship.
On September 4th, at the Dulles Gateway DTC run-throughs in Leesburg, VA, PWD Roxie (Amigo's Brown Velvet CD, RAE, AX, MXJ, AXP, AJP, NF, JWD, TDI, CGC) earned her TDI Certificate. She is doing her first visit to Spring Arbor Assisted Living in Leesburg on October 12th.
On September 17-23, at the Portuguese Water Dog Club of America's National Specialty in Pine Mountain, GA, Jeter competed in Water, Rally, Agility and Conformation. He won his Amateur Owner Handler class in breed. In agility, he earned an NJP and NAP leg, both with second places. Roxie completed her AKC Rally Championship title (RAE), and her AJP in agility, with a first place. She also placed first and second in Excellent B Standard Preferred, earning her first two MXP legs.

On September 10 & 11, at the NCBCC’s AKC agility trial in Leesburg, VA, Border Collie Lucy (U-CDX Loudoun’s Lofty Lucy UD, RE, AX, MXJ, OF, JCH, RM, SM, GM, AAD, ASA, NAC, NJC, JS-O, GS-N, FDCh-Gold, CGC) qualified in Open FAST on Saturday, placing first, to complete her OF title, and qualified both days in Excellent B JWW, placing first each time, to complete her MXJ title on Saturday and earn an additional leg on Sunday. Lucy also qualified, placing third, in Excellent B Standard on Sunday to earn her eighth MX leg and fourth Double Q.
At the same trial, Border Collie Yaz (OTCH, U-CDX Silveridge Yaz UDX, OM1, RAE, ASCA CD, AX, AXJ, NF, GM, AAD, AJ, ASA, NAC, NJC, NCC, TG-N, TN-O, WV-N, NADAC Novice Versatility, CGC, TDI) qualified in Excellent B JWW on Saturday, placing third (only 2 tenths of a second separated first, second, and third) to earn his seventh MXJ leg. Yaz also qualified in Open FAST on Saturday, placing first, to earn his second OF leg.
On September 17 & 18, running in limited classes because of the rainy conditions at the Mid-Atlantic MADness USDAA trial in Gamber, MD, Lucy qualified, placing third, in Masters Jumpers to earn her 14th leg. Yaz qualified in Masters Pairs with Belgian Malinois “Cinco” (first leg) and qualified in Masters Gamblers (eighth leg).
At the same trial, Border Collie Cash (Sagehill Time is Money ONYX, SG, RE, HTD1-s, HRD1-s, HTAD1-s, CGC, TDI) competed in his first Advanced Gamblers class and qualified, placing first. Cash also placed first (non-qualifying, one bar down each time) in Starters Standard both days, and also placed first (non-qualifying) in Starters Snooker and Jumpers (one bar again!).
