STUDENT BRAGS

New ADCH title!

From Alyssia Greiner:

On January 19 & 20 at the VA Ruff Riders USDAA agility trial in Woodbridge, VA, Border Collie Zippity (ADCH Eiz Zippity Do Da VCD2, RE, MX, MXJ, OF, TM-Bronze, NCC, FM, CGC) earned a Super Q in Master Snooker with a third place to complete her Agility Dog Champion (ADCH) and Snooker Master (SM) titles. She also earned her Tournament Master-Bronze (TM-Bronze) title by qualifying in the first round of Steeplechase and seeding second for Round 2. Zippity also qualified in Master Standard with a third place.

Competing only Friday, January 25 at the ODTC AKC agility trial in Timonium, MD, Zippity qualified in Excellent B JWW with a third place.

On January 27th, at the Pawzazz NADAC trial in Lothian, MD, Miniature Pinscher, Timmy (Sir Timothy Crimson Tide MXJ, RA, AJ, SS, SG, SR, PD1, PJ2, PK2, PG1, EAC, S-EJC, OCC, TN-E, WV-O, TG-N, N-Versatility, FMCh, CGC)  qualified in both rounds of Elite Standard, both second place, and qualified in Elite Jumpers with a first place, Timmy’s YPS for this run was 6.14. Rat Terrier Spring (U-CH Smartypants Spring Loaded RA, CGC) qualified in Novice Chances, Jumpers (first place) and TouchNGo (first place).

From Nancy Kurkjian:

On January 26 & 27 at the Oriole DTC’s AKC agility trial in Timonium, MD, Portuguese Water Dog Jazz (Amigo’s Mars AX, MXJ, OF, CGC) earned his MXJ and a fifth place out of 45 dogs.  At the same trial PWD Roxie (Amigo’s Brown Velvet NA, NAJ, CGC) had four qualifying runs, with two first places and two second places, and to complete both her NA and NAJ titles.

From Birute Vanatta:

On January 26th, at the Oriole DTC's AKC agility trial in Timonium, MD, Belgian Tervuren Josey (Makeit A Saucerful of Secrets NJP, CGC) earned her first agility title; Novice Jumpers Preferred. 

From Anke King:

Belgian Malinois Wizzie (Ch TriSorts Grand Wizard CD, RE, AX, MXJ, AAD, ASA, AJ, AS, CGC) has qualified to join the AWMA (American Working Malinois Association) World Team to compete at the FMBB (Federation Mondiale Berger Belge) World Championship in Slovenia on May 9 & 10, 2008.

From Carol Klingler:

At the Virginia Ruff Riders USDAA trial, held on January 19 & 20 in Woodbridge, VA, All American Bobby (Bobby S-NAC, S-NJC, S-NCC, O-TG-N, O-TN-N, PK2, PD1, PJ1, PG1, PR1, CSL1, CSL2-R) qualified twice in P1 Standard to earn his PD1 and PS1 titles. Bobby also qualified and placed third in P2 Snooker, to earn his PK2 title. At the same trial, All-American Milo (Milo S-NAC, S-NCC, S-TG-N, S-TN-N, O-NJC, WV-N, PK2, PD1, PG1, PJ1, CSL1, CSL2-F) qualified and placed first twice in P2 Standard. Milo also qualified and placed first in P1 Pairs.


INSTRUCTOR BRAGS

From Nancy Walkins:

At the YCDTC’s  two AKC Rally Obedience trials, held on January 27th in Red Lion, PA, Border Collie Lucy (Loudoun’s Lofty Lucy RN, CGC) placed first in Advanced A twice, with a perfect score of 100 in both trials, to earn her first two RA legs. Lucy was the only dog in all of the Advanced level classes (both A & B) in either trial, to receive a score of 100.

At the Dog Gone Fast flyball tournament, held on January 19 & 20 in Raleigh, NC, Border Collie Cash (Sagehill Time is Money RA, FDCh-G, HTD1-s, HRD1-s, HTAD1-s, CGC, TDI) and his Beltway Bandits team “Rush Hour” placed second in the Multi-Breed division. Cash earned 851 points toward his next NAFA title.

From Claudia Bates:

At the Ruff Riders USDAA trial, held in Woodbridge, VA, on January 19 & 20, Border Collie Giddy Up! (ADCh Timeless Giddy Up Girl!, SM, SAM, GCh, RM, TM-silver, JM, MX, MXJ, JHD) earned the following:  a qualifying score, placing first in Masters Standard; a qualifying score in Masters Snooker; a qualifying score in Steeplechase, placing third in Round 2; and a qualifying score in Grand Prix, placing second. 

At the same trial, Border Collie Kestrel (Timeless Time to Soar, AAD, AS, AJ, TM, MX, AXJ, JHD) earned the following: a qualifying score in Masters Snooker; a qualifying score in Steeplechase, placing second in Round 2; a qualifying score in Grand Prix, placing third; and a qualifying score in Masters Jumpers, placing second.
