SEMINAR
DATES AND LEVELS:
Friday,
June 27, 2008 (9:00 am - 5:30 pm) - Masters/Advanced Seminar
This day will focus on handling sequences and courses. Special attention will be paid to how the handler's motion impacts the dog's path. Requirements: Dogs must be competing in AKC Excellent Standard or have two legs in USDAA Advanced Standard. (Dates required on registration form or permission of the registrar, Claudia Bates.)

June 30, 2008 (9:00 am - 5:30 pm) - Open/Novice Seminar
This day will include sequence and course work as well as some obstacle fine tuning. Requirements: Dogs must be competing in Open Standard AKC or have at least two USDAA Novice Standard legs. (Dates required on registration form or permission of the registrar, Claudia Bates.)

DETAILS:
Each seminar will be limited to 11 working teams. The cost is $130
for current ACA students for one day, and $145 for non-ACA students.
Auditing spots are available at $35/day, $60/2 days for auditors not enrolled for a working spot. (Please note, no non-participating dogs in the building). Participants who are signed up for a working spot can audit the additional day at the cost of $20/day. The seminar will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 5:30 p.m. each day. The seminar will be held in our 100' x 125' climate controlled building. There will be a 1.5 hour break for lunch each day. Lunch will not be provided, but there are many fast food restaurants and delis in the area within close driving distance. Maps of Leesburg restaurants will be provided. We will have coffee, tea, water, and light snacks.

Registration
opens April 15th for currently enrolled ACA students for all seminars. After April 25th, each seminar that has not filled
will be open to the general public on a first come, first serve
basis. All registrations must be mailed through the USPS MAIL ONLY! No hand deliveries will be accepted.
You will be considered registered for the seminar/workshop and will be sent confirmation, via email, when all of the information (listed below) is received through the USPS mail only. ABOUT
JEN PINDER:
Jen is a full-time dog agility trainer who teaches lessons locally in Lapeer MI, just outside of Detroit. She also travels around the country giving agility seminars and workshops. Jen has been an instructor at Susan Garrett's Say Yes dog agility camps in the past as well as Clean Run Camp, Awesome Paws, Power Paws, Bark Camp, Florida camps, and many more.
Jen has been involved in agility since 1992. She was a member of the 2002, 2003 and 2004 AKC USA World Agility Teams. She has the distinct honor of being the first person from the US Agility Team sent to Crufts in Great Britain in 2004. Jen has been a finalist in the USDAA Grand Prix almost every year she has participated with her Border Collies and her Jack Russell Terrier, Divot. Jen has participated and placed high in the rankings of the Great Outdoor Games and is a crowd favorite at every large event.
Jen's methods help to teach her students to build a strong relationship with the dog and then to work on agility handling. Her emphasis on building a solid foundation in jumping, contacts, handling, and attention contributes to her success and the success of her students in agility today.
