Friday,
August 8, 2008 (9:00 am - 12:30 pm) - Novice Handling Workshop w/Claudia Bates - **ALL WORKING SPOTS FULL**
This seminar will focus on sequence handling with jumps, tunnels, and possibly contacts. Skills taught will include but not necessarily be limited to: lead out options; front crosses, rear crosses, serpentines, and course/sequence analysis. Requirements: Mastery of dogwalk, aframe, jumps and tunnels. Or, permission of the registrar, Claudia Bates.

August 8, 2008 (1:30 pm - 5:00 pm) - Novice Contacts Workshop w/Claudia Bates - **ALL WORKING SPOTS FULL**
This workshop will include working on individual contacts as well as working contacts within a sequence. Skills will include: contact end behavior, teeter games, and independent contact work. Requirements: Ability to work on all three contacts (aframe, dogwalk, teeter). Or, permission of the registrar, Claudia Bates.

August 9, 2008 (9:00 am - 5:00 pm) - Masters/Excellent Seminar w/Carrie Jones & Claudia Bates - **ALL WORKING SPOTS FULL**
Requirements: Dogs must have their OA or AAD (USDAA, AKC). (Dates required on registration form.) Or, permission of the registrar, Claudia Bates. This seminar will include difficult handling sequences and courses and will focus on speed, accuracy, consistent handling and course strategy. There will be two groups of 6 and will rotate between Carrie and Claudia throughout the day.

August 10, 2008 (9:00 am - 5:00 pm) - Open/Advanced Seminar w/Carrie Jones & Claudia Bates - **ALL WORKING SPOTS FULL**
Requirements: Dogs must have NA or AD (USDAA, AKC). (Dates required on registration form.) Or, permission of the registrar, Claudia Bates. This seminar will focus on preparing dogs and handler to compete at the Open/Advanced level and will include more challenging handling sequences and courses, consistent handling, obstacle discrimination and faster weave performance. There will be two groups of 6 and will rotate between Carrie and Claudia throughout the day.

DETAILS:
Each seminar and workshop will be limited to 12 working teams.
Friday Workshops - A working spot in Each of workshop is $45 for current ACA students and $55 for non-ACA students. Both workshops can be taken together at the price of $80 for current ACA students and $95 for non-ACA students.
Saturday & Sunday Handling Seminars - The cost for a working spot in each Saturday and Sunday’s handling seminars is $120 for current ACA students and $130 for non-ACA students, for one day.
Auditing spots are available at $45/day, $80/2 days, and/or $90/3 days (no non-participating dogs in the building). Participants who sign up for a working spot can audit additional days at the cost of $25/day.
There will be a 1.5 hour break for lunch each day. Lunch will not be provided, but there are many fast food restaurants and delis in the area within close driving distance. Maps of Leesburg restaurants will be provided. We will have coffee, tea, water, and light snacks.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
Registration opens May 27th for currently enrolled ACA students for all seminars/workshops. After June 2nd, each seminar/workshop that has not filled will be open to the general public on a first come, first serve basis. All registrations must be mailed through the USPS MAIL ONLY! No hand deliveries will be accepted.
You will be considered registered for the seminar/workshop and will be sent confirmation, via email, when all of the information (listed below) is received through the USPS mail only.
