Daisy Peel

Daisy Peel, two-time World Team member and three-time National Champion,
is coming to A Click Above on October 29 - 31, 2010.

About Daisy:

Daisy Peel is a Sixteen Time National Finalist, Five Time Regional Champion, Three Time National Champion, and Two Time World Team Member. Her science and education background have contributed to her keen observation skills for handler and dog movement. Daisy has been a pupil of Linda Mecklenburg's since 2004, and uses the methods and principles of a handling system that relies heavily on handler motion and natural cues to guide the dog through the agility course. More recently, Daisy has taught her youngest competition dog, Solar, a running dogwalk, which has helped him win two National Championships and a spot on the AKC World Team.

Seminars Offered:

Friday, October 29 - Novice/Open Handling Seminar - 9 am - 5 pm (**WORKING SPOTS FULL**)
(To attend this seminar, dogs must have mastery of all equipment and have attained at least 2 legs of USDAA Starters Standard and/or have the AKC NA title.)

Saturday, October 30 - Contacts Seminars
(Daisy is known for her phenomenal running and 2 on/2 off contacts with her dogs Solar and Jester.  These seminars will include how to train from the beginning as well as problem solving.  People auditing Daisy's contacts seminars benefit as much as working participants.)

Sunday, October 31 - Masters/Excellent Handling Seminar - 9 am - 5 pm (**WORKING SPOTS FULL**)
(To attend this seminar, dogs must have mastery of all equipment and have attained at least 2 legs of USDAA Advanced Standard and/or have the AKC AX title.)

Seminar Information & Fees:

Each seminar will be limited to 12 working teams.

Friday & Sunday Handling Seminars - The cost for a working spot in each Friday and Sunday’s handling seminars is $135 for current ACA students and $150 for general public, for one day. Auditing spots are available at $45/day and $80 both day (no non-participating dogs in the building). 

Saturday's Contact Seminars - The cost for a working spot in either the AM or PM session is $75 for current ACA students and $80 for general public.  A working spot for both the AM and PM seminar is $140 for current ACA students and $150 for general public.  Auditing spots are available at $50/seminar and $90 for both seminars (no non-participating dogs in the building).

There will be a one hour break for lunch each day. Lunch will not be provided, but there are many fast food restaurants and delis in the area within close driving distance. Maps of Leesburg restaurants will be provided. We will have coffee, tea, water, and light snacks.

Registration Information:

Registration opens August 23 for currently enrolled ACA students for all seminars. After September 7, each seminar/workshop that has not filled will be open to the general public on a first come, first serve basis. All registrations must be mailed through the USPS MAIL ONLY! No hand deliveries will be accepted.

You will be considered registered for the seminar/workshop and will be sent confirmation, via email, when all of the information (listed below) is received through the USPS mail only.
